Vision:
'Connecting
people and Christ to bring healing, hope and
life'.
This Vision Statement succinctly sums up our church's primary focus which is to reach out to all people, Christians and non-Christians alike, with the love of Christ.
The Church is the Body of Christ, called to carry on Christs work in the worldThe very character and nature of God is love. Therefore we believe loving relationships must permeate every aspect of church life so that we grow to become a caring community of believers tolerant and accepting of one another in love.is either by full immersion or by pouring water over ones head. We partake of the Sacrament of Holy Communion as the family meal of the Church which nourishes and strengthens us spiritually in our union with the living Christ.
We believe in the "Laying on of Hands" by the Bishop for confirmation to publicly affirm one's faith in Christ, and to be strengthened for ministry as a disciple of Christ.
We believe that God calls us to live out the Great Commandment and to carry out the Great Commission. In this way we are witnesses to His loving presence in the world, and we fulfil the mandate Christ gave us to make disciples.
As a church and as individuals, we strive to be the best that we can possibly be to bring honour and glory to God. In thanksgiving to God, we entrust and dedicate our time, talents and financial resources to prosper the work of God.
We value Prayer highly, as being essential and vital to growing our relationship with God and understanding His will for us as a church and as individuals. We value Small Groups as a means of better knowing, loving, and serving both God and one another.
We strive to empower people to be leaders in their own right. We value leaders who serve the church by leading, and lead the church by serving so that all members of the Church are equipped for service and ministry. We insist on and value integrity in the lives of all those in a church leadership role(s).
